Info Menu has details of all time related matters such as times of registration & sign-in, cycle start time, probable times for food stops & times of other events during the day of the cycle.

I have registered online, where do I get my Sponsorship Card?

Sponsorship card will be posted to you.

I have registered online, do I need to sign in?

Yes You need to hand in your sponsorship card & money collected in order to receive your wristband which will ensure access to the food stops and passage through the checkpoints.checkpoints.

I have not registered online, can I register on the day?

Yes You will also be able to register on the previous Friday evening 11th September from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. at the GAA Complex, Ahamilla as well as on the Saturday morning  of the cycle 12th September from 8.00 a.m. to 9.30 a.m.

I tried to register online but was unable to register.

Send us your details using our Contact Us form. Fill in all fields & we will register you. If possible let us know in the 'Your Message' box whether you want to do the short / long cycle.

If I do not register / sign-in can I still cycle the route?

No You need to sign-in order to receive your wristband which will ensure passage through the checkpoints.

What do I need to do on the day?

You should ensure that your bicycle is in good working order with the proper pressure in the tyres. If possible bring with you two spare tubes and a repair kit.
All entrants must wear a cycle helmet.

What time is the official start?

The cycle will start at 10.00 a.m. sharp

Are changing facilities available & can I leave my stuff there for the duration of the cycle?

Yes Changing rooms will be available but it will not be possible to leave any possessions in the changing rooms for the duration of the cycle.

Is a rub-down available after the cycle?

Yes Free massage will be available for the cyclists after the cycle.

Is food provided after the cycle?

Yes Food, including Pig on a Spit will also be available for all the cyclists and there will be musical entertainment between 2p.m. and 5p.m.

Where can I park?

Ample car parking facilities are available at the GAA Complex from where the cycle will start & finish.

Can I make a financial contribution even if I don't do the cycle?

Yes You can give your contribution to any member ot our organising committee. You can also make a secure online contribution through our homepage www.cloncycle.com

I have registered for the long / short cycle, Can I change my mind on-the-day?

Yes Both cycles routes will start at 10.00 a.m. & for the first 15 miles the route is the same. So if you signed up for the short route & are feeling great after 15 miles you can just take the long route or vice-versa.

Where are the Food / Water Stops?

There will be stops for refreshments at Bandon, Ballinhassig, Kinsale and Timoleague.

What do I do if I encounter a medical emergency?

Phone the Helpline number 087-3424285. (Save this no. on your phone now) Give clear and precise information on the nature of the injury, where the casualty is located & give your contact number.

Will there be mechanical backup service for bike problems?
